I have been meaning to do one of these types of pictures for a long time. And I thought I'd start with Legna (though she isn't the one that has changed the most). Man this brings back plenty of memories...

A couple of you have been around since 2003 so some of you remember all of these but ill tell her story anyway... Left to right... up then down:

2003
The first three pictures are from 2003, when Legna was born.

Legna was orignally supposed to be a superhero type of character that had five forms: Nonelemental, Fire, Ice, Love and Dance. Dance being her ultimate form. So the top two pics are her love form and the bottom is Ice. Unfortunately the GOOD ice pic i did of her isn't on any of my old cds.

And yes her ultimate form was where she grew her long ears. it stayed that way even in the novel...though now in the revision she has long ears always. She's always had two tails and her wings... though originally they changed with her forms. She started out with a halo.

2004
The next top picture is where i was experimenting with coloring hair and also hair color choices for her. And i have no idea how i did those clouds... really wish i could remember...

The bottom pic and next top are her in her dance form. I remember when that bottom picture was the background of the website...ages and ages ago... And yup her hair had rainbow highlights

I'd also created my own type of halo for her... (Mischief also had a similar type halo) with a symbol in the center. It became too much of a pain to draw though and eventually the halo was discarded all together.

2005
Legna on the moon is her in 2005... this is after she'd gone through major story changes. No longer the superhero with elemental forms, she recieved "amnesia" so to speak and this was how she envisioned herself in her dreams. This is also in the novel. In the revision this is no longer how she sees herself in her dream...its a bit more...relevant. Legna does have more than one form...though actually... Legna is a form of someone else altogether. That was her MAJOR story change.

That beautiful dress, though, was recolored and given to Blue.

2006
After almost a year of no Legna art, I'd finished the book and put it into editing and designed the artwork for the inside. That is when I drew Legna in her new (though what seems abit darker) way. She has one set of wings and they are pure white as opposed to red and pink (though one of her other forms retains the original pink wings)

2007
Not much to say about this one... another picture to go into the novel. Not any difference.

Her today design. Now she has her red clothing , a color she always tends to wear now (yes there is a reason), her permanent ears, and a subtle wing change (which i think i may keep) All in all she does indirectly keep one of her earlier elements which is love.


Hmm... reminds me... i haven't drawn her at ALL this year!
And yes... some of the above were spoilers... but only those who really have followed the story (whether you own/read the novel or not) will be able to tell....
